On March 14th, Branford Academy teamed up with Clear Vision Productions in order to help brides in need! From 5:00 – 9:00, students from Branford Academy volunteered their time at the Oakdale Theatre’s Wedding Styles of Connecticut Bridal Show. Branford Academy offered brides to be, friends, and family members a variety of beauty services, including nail polish changes, up dos, hair curling, and hair straightening. Each service that was offered costed one dollar, and all proceeds went to Wish Upon a Wedding. Wish Upon a Wedding is a charity known for providing weddings and vow renewals for couples who are facing terminal illness or other serious, life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Branford Academy and Clear Vision Productions were proud to be working with such a worthwhile charity, and raised money that will go towards fulfilling the wishes of some wonderful couples.
