On May 16th, students were asked to explore hair and makeup trends for the upcoming bridal season. They were given the freedom to look into this topic in whatever way they wanted, and it is certainly evident that they did just that!


According to Wedding Journal Online, bridal beauty trends for this upcoming season include the use of pastels in makeup application, as well as bright colored lips. As far as hair trends, brides are opting for hair rolls, messy up-do’s, and the classic, go-to, loose curls. Even for such a classic event like a wedding, it is still possible to incorporate unique style elements that are in line with this season’s hottest trends!

Branford Academy students worked hard on the hair and the makeup of their models, and did an outstanding job showing off their finished work! Many students were in line with what is trending right now in the bridal style world, which makes their work extremely relevant to today’s beautiful brides.
