On July 13th at 6:30 pm, Branford Academy held a commencement for their students who have recently completed all of their requirements to graduate. During the graduation, Diana shared a personal story that was either funny, heartfelt, entertaining, or a little bit of everything, about each graduate. “It is important to celebrate a job well done,” said Diana, referring to the graduating class. Families of the graduates came to take part in their students’ big day, and shared in the celebration.

All of the Branford Academy graduates wear caps and gowns for the ceremony. In addition, they all get to keep their tassel with a “2012” charm and a blowdryer charm attached to it, which is something special and unique to Branford Academy. Students were all excited and proud of themselves, and their journey to get to this point. Diana explained that “the students find their identity here,” which the graduates can certainly attest to.

Faculty and family celebrated with the beauty school graduates over appetizers, fresh salads, refreshments, and a nice big cake! Diana is always overjoyed with her graduates, and was quoted as saying “It is fun to see them from a year ago, where they are now, and how far they have grown!” Congratulations to the Branford Academy Class of 2012, we wish you many great things for your futures!
